This month Reynolds Logistics have put into service the very first Euro VI tractor unit to take to the roads in Ireland.  The environmentally friendly and light weight Mercedes Antos has gone on the road 4 months before the changeover to Euro VI to enable Reynolds to evaluate the likely operating costs of the new technology with fears in the industry about increase fuel consumption and maintenance costs.  Reynolds Logistics have always been at the forefront of trying out new technology and in many cases have been the first operator to use vehicles ahead of their mandatory introduction.

The company has two main operating bases in Dublin, Ireland and Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom, with several strategically placed out-bases including a new base in East London to ensure a seamless network of transport operations throughout Ireland the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.  Now with the family in their third generation Andrew Reynolds the CEO is shaping the company to continue its growth into new markets with safety, innovation and customer satisfaction as the key drivers.  Reynolds Logistics employ 260 people and have an annual turnover of €35 million.  Reynolds Logistics, Dublin, former winner of the Fleet Transport ‘Irish Haulier of the Year’ and Silver award recipient in the European Transport Company of the Year in 2009.

The new www.reynoldslogistics.com is user friendly website with a more professional look and feel.  The site is constantly updated with news stories, photographs and social media live feeds.  It provides one of Europe’s leading transport companies with a strong online branding presence.  The new livery which is reflected on the new website will have great brand presence for Reynolds Logistics fleet on the road along with clearer safety messages.  Reynolds Logistics in partnership with The Road Safety Authority (RSA), deliver lifesaving road safety messages to road users.

Maxol, Ireland’s leading family-owned fuel and convenience retailer is pleased to announce that it has renewed its contract with Reynolds Logistics to continue to service its Republic of Ireland retail network with all fuel deliveries. A two-year contract has been awarded on foot of a successful tender and coincides with the rebranding of Maxol’s tanker fleet.

Commenting on the new contract, Mark Woods, Chief Supply Chain Officer, The Maxol Group, said: “I am delighted that Reynolds Logistics will continue to be our exclusive haulier for fuels and at a time when our new striking vehicle livery will draw even more attention to the fleet on the road.
